TRX 

Created by a Navy SEAL, Suspension Training body-weight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a high performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete 100's of exercises. 

You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.

POWER CIRCUIT 

An intense and fun exercise class for women designed to tone, sculpt, and build muscle strength. This challenging class incorporates light & heavy weights, trampoline, Bosu, Swiss Ball, resistance bands, punching bags, and other fitness equipment - in a rotating circuit format.

H.I.T.T. THE DANCE FLOOR!

Join certified instructor Estherlee Katz for an hour of high-energy, intense dance fun. Short choreographed sequences to energizing, popular Israeli music will help you find your rhythm and discover your inner "dancing queen". With this unique blend of hip hop & Zumba-style moves, you'll be getting your groove on while working up a sweat!

POWER KETTLEBELL

Blast off fat with certified instructor, Miriam Newhouse! Burn yourself to the "core" faster than ever before!

  • The ultimate workout - simultaneous strength, power, dynamic flexibility, endurance, and cardio!

Kettle bell exercises build strength and endurance. The basic movements engage the entire body at once and in a way that mimics real world activities such as shoveling or carrying groceries. Unlike the exercises with dumbbells or barbells, kettle bell have an irregular shape which mimics the lifting of real life objects. Kettle bell workouts improve mobility, range of motion and increased strength. 

Participants should be in overall good health, with no orthopedic or metabolic disease (i.e. back or joint pain, high blood pressure, etc.)

OUTDOOR WATER WORKOUT (seasonal*)

Discover a whole new way to revitalize your exercise routine. To keep your workouts fresh & effective, I've translated some of your studio favorites to the pool! Your summer slimming plan will be a splashing success while lounging pool side. It is so vital to re-nourish after exercising to get the most out of your workout. The smoothie gives you awesome nutrition and necessary replenishing to assist in your body's post-workout recovery.

Classes are taught by certified instructor, Miriam Newhouse, at a large, private, heated salt-water pool in Monsey.

AERIAL YOGA

Aerial Yoga is a new kind of workout that involves performing a series of exercises inspired by yoga, Pilates, calisthenics and aerial acrobatics in a hammock-like apparatus, in order to achieve a total-body workout. Think Cirque du Soleil for gym-goers and yoga buffs. It’s also incredibly fun! It gives you the chance to hang freely, allowing your spine to lengthen. People who have taken the class always comment on how much better their back feels afterward. In addition to decompressing the spine, Aerial Yoga can help to increase strength and flexibility. 


So how do you prepare to have your world turned upside down? Drop all expectations. Like any brand new experience, it’s important to have an open mind. Listen to your instructor, and most importantly, trust the hammock. We wouldn’t let people do this if it wasn’t one-hundred percent safe. 


While it may be difficult to feel comfortable doing backflips in a lavender-colored silk hammock your first time out, it may ease your mind to know that each hammock can actually support up to 2,000 lbs (970 kg). As for the hardware that attaches the hammocks to the ceiling? It’s all mountain-climbing rated. Once you’re able to overcome that initial fear, you’ll be able to enjoy all that the class has to offer. 


Some cautions: Due to the nature of the class, with its flips and inversions, Aerial Yoga is not recommended for women who are pregnant. Also, if you have recently had eye surgery or suffer from vertigo, it is recommended that you consult your doctor before giving the class a try.


But when it comes to your fitness level, there are no restrictions for Aerial Yoga. Even if you’ve never taken a yoga class in your life, you’ll be amazed at how much you can do!

Utilizing the skills and principles of Krav Maga/Hisardut - the Israeli Survival Systems - our curriculum blends the best techniques from various martial arts to create the most effective self-defense program. These essential lessons will empower your child for the rest of his / her life.
